hp-mini-backup — last updated 12 October 2026
This policy describes how the hp-mini-backup application handles information.
It is a private, single-user tool that runs on its owner's own server. Its only user is the owner
of the Google Account that authorised it.
What it accesses
- Google Drive. With the owner's consent, the application can read and write
files in that one Google Account's Drive. It uses this access solely to upload backups and to
verify them afterwards.
- The owner's own server files. The files it backs up are the owner's own
configuration, databases and photographs. No other person's data is involved.
What it does with that access
- Files are encrypted on the owner's server before upload. The application does not transmit
readable file contents.
- No data is sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party. Nothing is used for
advertising, profiling, or analytics.
- No data is sent anywhere except the owner's own Google Drive account.
What is not collected
- No usage analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting.
- No cookies and no tracking technologies on this website.
- No personal information is collected from anyone, because nobody other than the owner uses
the application.
Storage and retention
- Backups are stored in the owner's Google Drive and are therefore also governed by Google's
own privacy policy and terms of service.
- The owner may delete the stored backups at any time; access may be revoked at any time from
the Google Account's third-party access settings, which immediately ends the application's
ability to reach that Drive.
Contact
This is a private application and the owner is its only user. Questions about this policy can be
addressed to the owner of the Google Account that authorised it, using the support address shown
on the application's consent screen.
